BBQ CEO ("we", "us", bbq.ceo) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We run a barbecue content site with a free newsletter, a members' area, and links to products we recommend — we are not a shopfront taking payment for physical goods.
We do not sell your personal information.
We use a small number of cookies: an essential sign-in session cookie for members, a cookie that remembers your light/dark theme choice, and — when you click through to a retailer we recommend — that retailer's affiliate cookie, which lets them credit us for the referral. You can block or clear cookies in your browser; the members' area needs its session cookie to work.
We share data only with the services that make the site work — our hosting and email providers — and, if and when paid membership opens, a payment processor (Stripe) that handles card details directly; we never see or store your full card number. Affiliate networks we link to set their own cookies and have their own privacy policies.
You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time using the link in any email. You can ask us to show you, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you — just reach us through the contact page. We keep newsletter data until you unsubscribe and account data until you close your account.
This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

BBQ CEO is a barbecue information and education site. It offers free articles, guides and tools, a free newsletter, and a members' area ("The Pit") with additional tools and content. Everything here is for general information — see the Disclaimer tab; you cook at your own risk.
If you create an account you're responsible for keeping your login details secure and for activity under your account. The Pit is a digital membership. Paid billing is not currently switched on — you can create an account and reserve your plan at no charge. When paid membership opens, the price, billing cycle and cancellation terms will be shown clearly before you are ever charged, and you'll be able to cancel at any time. See the Billing & Refunds tab.
Don't misuse the site: no attempting to break, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it; no scraping or republishing our content wholesale; no using it for anything unlawful.
The articles, guides, photos, tools and the Grillmaster John name and branding are ours (or used with permission) and protected by copyright. You're welcome to read, print for personal use, and link to them. You may not copy or republish them as your own.
Some links to grills, tools and other products are affiliate links: if you buy through them we may earn a commission, at no extra cost to you. We only point you at gear we'd genuinely recommend. Purchases you make are between you and that retailer, under their terms.
