A reasonable, genuinely-stainless entry-level built-in grill for someone furnishing an outdoor kitchen on a budget, but skip it if consistent edge-to-edge heat out of the box is a priority.

Pros

  • Full 304 stainless steel construction with a lifetime warranty on the frame and burners
  • Owners report straightforward delivery and assembly
  • Double-wall hood and laser-cut stainless grates hold heat well
  • Entry point into a genuinely stainless built-in grill below the SL/CL price tiers
  • Serious heat (45,000 BTU) — sears fast

Watch-outs

  • No rotisserie or dedicated sear burner without stepping up a tier
  • Electronics/valve/ignition parts carry only a 1-year warranty
  • Heat can run hotter at the back/one side than the rest of the grate
  • Built overseas, not in the US

Known niggles

  • Uneven heat across the cooking surface — independent testing of a Coyote gas-grill unit found temperatures ranging from about 420°F to 800°F between zones on the same grate
  • Occasional rust spotting reported by owners despite the 304 stainless build
  • Ignition/valve components (only 1-year warranty) are a reported weak point compared to the lifetime-covered frame and burners
